DSJ Global Announced as a Finalist on World Procurement Awards Shortlist

We are pleased to announce that DSJ Global have made the shortlist for the World Procurement Awards 2016. DSJ Global is a finalist in the Best Procurement Service Provider category, and is the only recruitment firm to make the shortlist for this award.

The World Procurement Awards are the most celebrated and sought after awards in procurement, representing the best projects, people and organisations across the world. They reward the collective efforts of individuals and teams and are an affirmation of the hard work, innovation and dedication of those at the forefront of this dynamic global profession.

Nick Barber, Head of Recruitment - North America for DSJ Global, commented, “This is a tremendous achievement for DSJ globally – in the business plan we agreed upon 4 years ago we made it a firm goal of ours to win an industry recognised award, and to be named alongside some fantastic companies in our category is very humbling. The need to attract, hire and retain procurement talent has been one of the biggest challenges on many CPO’s agendas over the last few years; and we have made a very conscious effort as a business to really improve our understanding of specific technical details and market trends in this space. This has enabled us to build such strong relationships with clients and candidates alike – as we can add much more value outside of the typical recruitment process.”

This year saw a record number of entries from some of the most influential companies for Procurement Leaders 10th anniversary of the awards.

Mark Reed, CPO at AARP and World Procurement Awards judge commented, “I am absolutely blown away by the quality and breadth of the submissions this year. The number of submissions has ballooned, and I’m absolutely amazed by the things that some of the organisations who are members of Procurement Leaders are achieving, it’s incredibly inspiring.”

Panels of experts including CPOs from BT, Brose, DBS Bank & E. & J. Gallo Winery came together for several phases of judging in London and Denver to debate submissions and decide the winners of each category.  The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on 18 May 2016 at the Intercontinental London, The O2.
