This client has a long history at the top of its industry, and continues to lead the way in customer excellence and production innovation. We are seeking an experienced 3PL Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics activities in Germany, optimizing third-party partnerships for efficient warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment.

Role Overview

As the 3PL Manager for Germany, you will manage and enhance relationships with third-party logistics providers, drive continuous improvement, and lead innovation projects to optimize distribution and planning operations. This role will ensure high performance and cost efficiency across all logistics operations in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all 3PL operations in Germany, ensuring efficient warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Implement innovation projects to optimize distribution and planning operations.
  • Optimize supplier performance through key projects, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing 3PL operations in Germany or similar supply chain roles.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Experience within food, FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or a similar industry.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and innovation projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (fluent in German and English).
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
