DSJ Global is currently partnered with an exciting packaging company in Oklahoma City looking to bring on a Human Resource Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management within manufacturing environments and a proven track record in employee relations. This role will be critical in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and supporting our employees' growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Management: Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and values.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth. Facilitate leadership development initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
  • HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Manufacturing Site Support: Work closely with manufacturing site managers to address HR needs specific to the production environment. Ensure HR practices support operational efficiency and employee well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
