HSES Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking an EHS Specialist to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations across wind energy projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewable energy sector and a strong commitment to safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, environmental permits, etc.).
- Risk Assessment: Conduct site evaluations to identify and mitigate environmental, health, and safety risks.
- Training: Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors.
- Incident Management: Investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Environmental Stewardship: Monitor waste, water, and emissions for sustainability goals.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Reporting: Maintain EHS documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate to improve EHS practices across operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in EHS roles, preferably in wind or renewable energy.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Certification or similar preferred.
