Quality Control Engineer
Job Summary: The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing and performance of HRSGs and SCRs. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and control within the power manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for HRSGs and SCRs.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and interpret data from quality tests and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 standards and other relevant quality certifications.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the power manufacturing industry.
- Deep knowledge of HRSGs and SCRs, including their design, manufacturing, and performance characteristics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, including Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software.
