Key Responsibilities:
Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for plastic commodities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, ensuring suppliers meet performance targets for cost, quality, and delivery. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
Procurement Transformation: Play an integral role in the company's procurement transformation efforts, ensuring the smooth integration of new systems and processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure the strategic alignment of procurement objectives with product development and manufacturing needs.
Market Analysis: Stay informed on market trends and innovations in the plastics industry, using this knowledge to inform procurement decisions and strategic planning.
Cost Management: Drive cost savings initiatives and track performance against budget, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Experience in the automotive sector
