Senior Clinical Supply Manager
Job Title: Senior Clinical Supplies Manager Location: San Francisco, CA Company: Leading Biotech/Pharma Organization
Compensation: $140,000-$190,000 + bonus and full relocation package if necessary
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive clinical supply strategies to support multiple clinical trials and research initiatives.
Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate the planning, sourcing, packaging, labeling, and distribution of clinical trial materials.
Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the highest quality and cost-effectiveness of clinical supplies.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage supply chain risks to prevent disruptions in clinical trial timelines.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Analyze clinical supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the clinical supplies team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on clinical supply status, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical supply chain management, with a focus on the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of successful vendor management and contract negotiation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
