Sourcing Manager, IT & Technology

The Sourcing Manager - IT & Technology will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for IT and technology-related products and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the procurement of high-quality, cost-effective solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT and technology categories, including hardware, software, services, and telecommunications.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and value.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and legal teams, to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier selection to contract negotiation and performance management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a focus on IT and technology categories.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
