Operations Supervisor
Our client specializes in providing compressed air systems to various industries. They are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for their Ohio operations. This role overseeing the management of regional site operations at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of all compressed air systems to meet or exceed contract performance, either directly or through third-party services.
- Monitor and evaluate processes at regional on-site facilities.
- Implement TPM and asset management programs, including spare parts, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance, to achieve or exceed budget and performance targets.
- Execute and maintain environmental, safety, and quality assurance compliance systems and programs.
- Maintain continuous communication and excellent relationships with customers to coordinate plant production and maintenance activities, ensuring customer needs and availability guarantees are met.
- Manage local operations employees, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Handle plant staffing, training, and development.
- Model sustainability initiatives as required by customers.
- Evaluate current process conditions, report performance, and develop and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Perform and/or schedule maintenance of instrumentation, electrical systems, compressors, dryer systems, pumps, valves, motors, and other plant equipment.
- Maintain 24/7 on-call responsibility.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent, preferred
- Understanding of compressed air systems service and operation; large centrifugal compressors, screw compressors, air dryers, instrumentation and PLC/DCS
- Electrical and Mechanical skills
- CMMS maintenance program
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Lean Six Sigma, a plus
