The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for:
* Department Management:
- Direct and manage the entire Supply Chain department, including the three subdepartments: purchasing, procurement, and logistics.
- Monitor team performance and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies in the management of the department.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure an efficient workflow.
* Purchasing Management:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies to create an efficient flow of necessary components.
- Select and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery times.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with strategic suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials and necessary materials for production.
- Monitor daily purchasing activities.
* Inventory Control:
- Monitor and optimize stock levels to avoid cost overruns or stockouts.
- Coordinate with production and sales to adjust inventory to demand.
- Use technological tools for real-time inventory tracking.
- Implement inventory management systems.
- Supervise and conduct internal audits periodically.
* Logistics Management:
- Plan and optimize distribution transport routes, coordinating with the logistics department.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in transport operations.
- Manage relationships and address issues with logistics operators and carriers.
- Manage and supervise product returns.
* Planning and Organization:
- Organize and structure the Supply Chain department.
- Develop strategic supply plans based on demand.
- Establish short-, medium-, and long-term planning strategies to optimize resources.
* Optimization and Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain and implement strategies to optimize costs and lead times.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation to drive innovation.
- Promote continuous improvement in all Supply Chain processes.
* Compliance:
- Ensure that all operations comply with current regulations and stay updated on new policies or regulations.
- Manage the necessary certifications to operate in national and international markets.
The Head of Supply Chain should have the following qualifications:
* Proven experience in Supply Chain or other relevant experience.
* Leadership experience with a track record of managing teams.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
