Production Manager (m/w/d)
We are currently looking for a Production Manager for one of our clients, a major international company in the electronics company near Dijon. In this position you will be responsible for leading a team of 100 people.
The company is looking for experienced production leaders who have the potential to step into the plant manager position in the future.
The Production Manager will oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage production teams and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Supervise and manage production staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to optimize production workflows.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of materials.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Address and resolve any production issues or delays promptly.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in production technology.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 10+ years proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role within the electronics or metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in developing lean management systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent French, Fluent English
