They are actively looking to appoint a Director of Quality at their facility based in Raleigh, NC. This role is central to their strategic objectives, providing an experienced leader with the opportunity to oversee a multifaceted and highly skilled global quality assurance team, which encompasses more than 75 dedicated professionals.
In this influential position as Director of Quality, you will be instrumental in advancing the company's commitment to operational excellence and competitive positioning in the market. Your responsibilities will include upholding and elevating the highest quality standards throughout every aspect of their operations, ensuring that the companies products and services meet and exceed the expectations set by their esteemed clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of the company's quality management systems, with a strong focus on their continual enhancement. Your leadership will be key in driving initiatives that aim for superior operational outcomes and heightened customer satisfaction.
- Engaging effectively with our international teams, you will ensure that every division, regardless of location, meets our high-quality benchmarks. This global standardization is crucial for maintaining the integrity and reputation of our brand across all markets.
- Pioneering the adoption of Six Sigma methodologies across the enterprise to foster substantial process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Your role will involve mentoring teams, managing wide-ranging projects, and aligning all organizational processes with these exacting standards to optimize performance and minimize waste.
Skills Required:
Six Sigma: Prospective candidates must have a deep and actionable understanding of Six Sigma, an advanced, analytical methodology designed to eliminate defects in any process.
Advanced Degree: While a Bachelors degree at minimum is needed, any further education or masters degree applicants are welcome.
Quality Leadership: Our client is seeking a strong people leader, who has led multi-site operations, with layered headcount reporting into them.
