As Global Category Manager reporting to the Category Lead you will manage spends across 60 sites globally and be instrumental in developing, embedding and implementing category strategy across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Analyse procurement data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
