My client is a leader in paper manufacturing, committed to delivering high-quality finished goods while promoting safe and efficient operations. They offer a wide variety of paper products, including paper towels, tissue, hand hygiene products, specialty wipes, and dispensers.
They are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to enhance the mechanical reliability of their maintenance systems and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work is conducted according to Marcal safety policies, resulting in an incident-free work environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
- Lead project and reliability maintenance activities, including safety, compliance, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Drive maintenance and engineering activities aligned with KPI and P&L goals.
- Manage teams to support teamwork and development.
- Contribute to annual project and repair budget forecasts, approve and monitor expenditures.
- Improve maintenance and operational machinery knowledge.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in engineering or related background.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance leadership and engineering capacities.
- Demonstrated engineering experience and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop a team and individuals technically and managerially.
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
