Product Development Specialist (m/f/d)
An international manufacturer is seeking a Team Lead - Product Development & Technical Service to join its laboratory team. Specializing in advanced coatings, laminates, and high-performance materials, the company serves industries including packaging, automotive, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals.
Your Role:
- Lead a team of three project managers and one lab assistant.
- Oversee R&D projects, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
- Act as the technical liaison for sales, customers, purchasing, and production.
- Optimize laboratory workflows and resource planning.
- Drive innovation through new test methods and product expertise.
- Budget and track development costs while maintaining key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with international colleagues and industry partners.
Your Profile:
- Background in chemistry, materials science, or a related field (CTA, chemical technician, or equivalent).
- Experience in lab-based R&D, ideally within coatings, films, or roll-to-roll processes.
- Leadership experience or aspirations to grow into a management role.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
