Site Facility Engineer (M/F/D)
A global supply chain organization is seeking a Site Engineer to support R&D site operations, focusing on facilities management and capital project delivery. This role ensures the efficient operation of infrastructure, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and site infrastructure strategy.
Oversee engineering activities on-site, monitoring performance data, contractor work, and regulatory compliance.
Identify and mitigate engineering risks, implementing necessary improvements.
Champion key operational programs, including safety reporting, energy optimization, and engineering change control.
Support site audits, drive corrective actions, and lead sustainability initiatives.
Act as a technical authority, oversee vendor management, and ensure adherence to engineering and EHS standards.
Lead mid-to-large-scale capital projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as a point of escalation for site issues and represent the site in broader company forums.
Participate in the site crisis team on a rotational basis.
Qualifications & Skills:
Engineering experience in facilities operations, technical support, or R&D environments.
Strong understanding of R&D processes and regulatory (GxP) requirements.
Experience with infrastructure systems (boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers).
Background in facilities management or engineering-related disciplines.
Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Proven ability to manage external service providers effectively.
