Warehouse Manager
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our client's warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and leading a team of warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and setup of warehouse layout.
- Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Prepare and manage the warehouse budget.
- Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance and productivity.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management software and databases.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required, Dutch is preferred.
