Qualifications
- Proven Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of management experience in food safety and quality within a high-risk environment.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Over 5 years in food processing, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment under USDA and/or FDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to FDA requirements and oversee plant compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Quality Assurance Integration: Lead the integration of quality assurance and food safety processes to align with business objectives, including certifications and audits.
- Team Leadership: Develop and coach a high-performance team, focusing on communication, development, and succession planning.
