Instruction and Manual Technical Writer (Fluent in English)
My client is a global electronic retail group with regional office in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Instruction and Manual Technical Writer (Fluent in English).
Job Responsibilities:
- Create technical document information in operating instructions across various electronic items such as smart-tech, appliances and gadgets, Power Tools and DIY devices etc
- Ensure documentation complies with requirements and standards within compliance and regulatory terms
- Liaise closely with internal and external partners such as graphic design team, translation team, suppliers and technical team
- Work independently on various projects in a fast-paced environment in timely manners
Job Requirements:
- High Diploma or Degree in engineering or any disciplines
- Great communication in English
- Familiar with component material system, incorporate product-related standards such as industry regulations as per HQ guideline
- Proven track record in creating operating instructions for soft and hard goods of varying complexity.
- Excellent document management (e.g., organizing, maintenance, and version-control)
- Analytical, driven, fast-paced individual who can meet tight target within the timeline
- Detail-minded, rational and process-driven mindset
