Maintenance Manager

DSJ Global is partnered with a top meat processing company to hire a Maintenance Manager for its North Carolina facility. This role oversees plant maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement maintenance and facility improvement programs to enhance equipment performance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards within the maintenance team.
  • Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and long-term planning.
  • Manage the maintenance management system and coordinate external vendor work.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in maintenance management.
  • Food/Beverage experience required; poultry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, preventive/predictive maintenance, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel to other facilities as needed.
