Maintenance Manager
DSJ Global is partnered with a top meat processing company to hire a Maintenance Manager for its North Carolina facility. This role oversees plant maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement maintenance and facility improvement programs to enhance equipment performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards within the maintenance team.
- Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance while maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and long-term planning.
- Manage the maintenance management system and coordinate external vendor work.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in maintenance management.
- Food/Beverage experience required; poultry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, preventive/predictive maintenance, and manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel to other facilities as needed.
