Mechanical Systems Engineer
Position Summary: The systems engineer is a crucial member of the engineering team, tasked with analyzing production requirements and specifications to develop optimal equipment systems for quotation and supply.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer communications and specifications against company capabilities.
Develop equipment configurations to optimize production line footprint, maintainability, labor savings, and ROI.
Create production charts, layout drawings, and equipment specifications.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date production line layouts and project tracking documents.
Visit customer facilities to review project details and verify information.
Prepare installation drawings and submit to the installation department.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with CAD (2D and 3D Solidworks preferred).
Experience with material handling systems and Excel.
- Knowledge of fans and blowers a plus.
