Packaging Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of assigned shifts, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.
  • Oversee packaging processes (bottling, canning, kegging) to ensure timely and in-specification production.
  • Supervise hourly staff and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives for assigned areas.

Key Tasks:

  • Direct Operators to maintain quality through proper procedures.
  • Perform Operator tasks as needed.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and pre-shift meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, TPM).
  • Monitor production plans and address issues related to process loss and equipment efficiency.
  • Report and investigate incidents and injuries.
  • Ensure accurate payroll reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing/CPG or engineering.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to wear PPE and work in various physical positions.
  • Experience in the beverage industry.
  • 2+ years in a process engineer role.
