Role Overview:
As the EMEA Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the business by spearheading sales efforts across the region. Drawing upon your extensive experience in both pharma logistics and full truckload logistics, you will be instrumental in driving growth, forging strategic partnerships, and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the unique needs and dynamics of the pharma logistics market in the EMEA region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry expertise and network to establish a robust pipeline of potential
clients. Cultivate strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, logistics partners, and other relevant entities, serving as a trusted advisor and solutions provider. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services, exceeding client expectations at every touch point. Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes, proactively adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, offering valuable insights and recommendations to drive business growth and optimisation.
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in sales within the pharma logistics industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the sector. Extensive experience in full truckload logistics, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex supply chain networks and deliver tailored solutions. Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry and related sectors, with a knack for building and nurturing fruitful relationships. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences. Strategic mindset, with a keen ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop effective strategies to achieve business objectives. Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification
preferred. Fluency in Germany and English; additional languages would be advantageous. Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA regions required.
