Facilities Mechanical Engineer
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Manufacturing Conglomerate Company who is looking to expand its team with a Facilities Mechanical Engineer. This candidate will be providing engineering support to production, maintenance, and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage capital and expense projects by developing scopes and budgets, ensuring quality communication, adhering to schedules, and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Specify new production equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
- Create detailed functional specifications for production equipment.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to procure and implement production equipment and infrastructure support.
- Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure they meet contract specifications.
- Provide maintenance engineering and troubleshooting assistance.
- Prepare contract scope of work documents and cost estimates.
The Facilities Maintenance Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- B.S Engineering (Required)
- 3+ years experience in mechanical project engineering
- Experience with plant maintenance
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in a diverse industrial environment
