Regional Sales Manager - USA

We are currently seeking multiple Regional Sales Managers to oversee sales in specific regions (Southeast and Southwest). These regions are well-established territories with significant growth potential. In this role, you will engage with existing customers, build strong relationships with school food service directors, brokers, and K12 distributor coordinators, and drive sales by becoming a trusted partner.

Our products are high quality, taste great, meet nutritional guidelines, are priced for the K12 school food service market, and increase participation. We participate in all industry events and offer participation-building products for center-of-the-plate lunch and a la carte segments. Our products are easy to present, we have one of the highest on-time/in-full delivery rates in the industry coupled with outstanding customer service support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Excellent presentation skills to assess customer needs and present effective solutions. Proven ability to listen to customers, "read the room," and offer great product solutions.
  • Establish positive working relationships with customers, brokers, and K12 distributor coordinators to become a trusted point of contact.
  • Communicate with customers clearly, frequently, and professionally to become a trusted resource. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with brokers in a way that creates win-win success. Collaboratively set a sales plan and execute the plan throughout the school year.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to utilize CRM and sales reports to analyze the territory and set/revise a sales plan.
  • Travel efficiently with an emphasis on seeing customers as reasonably as possible.
  • Exhibit a drive to win, have executive presence while always keeping the customer's needs in mind.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years food sales / food service experience.
  • K12 experience highly preferred.
  • Proven self-starter and results-oriented individual.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, as well as excellent listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 65% Travel Required - 30-32 weeks per year: 2-3 days per week.
