Project Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in product development to lead and oversee projects from concept to production in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products while continuously improving existing product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development projects from ideation to production, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
  • Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure product performance and manufacturability.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, customers, and vendors to align project goals and expectations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and report key metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing and product development environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product design, and production requirements.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Stage-Gate processes.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP preferred).
  • Knowledge of CAD, ERP, and PLM systems is a plus.
