Our client, a Mid-Size Plastic Fabrication company supporting the Automotive industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join their team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and improving our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
- Lead and manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Analyze quality data and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management, specifically with IATF 16949 and PPAP.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
