Associate Clinical Supply Chain Director
Job Title: Associate Director of Clinical Supply Location: San Francisco, CA Company: Leading player in the Pharma/Biotech Industry
Compensation: $170,000-$210,000 + bonus and competitive relocation if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement clinical supply strategies to support clinical trials and ensure timely delivery of investigational products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory, and quality assurance, to align supply chain activities with project timelines.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable sourcing of clinical materials.
Oversee the planning, forecasting, and inventory management of clinical supplies, including labeling, packaging, and distribution.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for clinical supply chain operations.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Lead and mentor a team of clinical supply professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
