My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation and Controls Manager to lead the automation team in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for the manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and proven Managerial experience in overseeing automation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Provide guidance and mentor-ship to team members.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
PLC and HMI Expertise:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for various manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for efficient control and monitoring.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in PLC and HMI technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing automation and controls teams.
- Strong expertise in designing, programming, and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
- Experience with industrial automation protocols and communication networks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to automation and controls.
