Key Responsibilities:
Generate New Business Opportunities:
Actively identify and secure new clients within the German market to expand the company's diverse clientele base in air, ocean, and road freight services.Client Relationship Management:
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and continuous business growth. Provide high-touch support to build trust and loyalty.Strategic Planning:
Implement and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's goals and objectives, focusing on air, ocean, and road freight services. Ensure plans are aligned with market needs and global capabilities.Sales and Deal Closing:
Drive the sales process from lead generation to successful deal closure. Achieve and exceed sales targets to contribute to the company's overall growth and market share.Market Research and Insights:
Keep track of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in Germany to provide insights and help shape the company's service offerings and sales approach.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven Sales Track Record:
Demonstrated success in B2B sales, with a strong ability to close deals and meet sales targets in a competitive market.Freight Forwarding Expertise:
Strong and deep understanding of air freight, ocean freight, and road freight services, with the ability to discuss solutions in detail with clients and prospects.Industry Experience:
A minimum of 5 year's experience in sales or business development roles within the freight forwarding industry. Experience in express courier services is not ideal for this position, as it is focused on general freight forwarding.Languages:
Fluency in both English and German is required for this role, as it involves communication with international clients and local teams.Hands-On and Autonomous Approach:
A self-motivated and proactive individual who can work independently but thrives within a globally supported structure.
