Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic sourcing roadmap that aligns with the company's growth objectives and sustainability goals.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and innovation.
- Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing, and market analysis.
- Category Management: Oversee sourcing for multiple categories, including raw materials, packaging, and other direct and indirect goods.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on product specifications and timelines.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics and market insights to inform sourcing strategies and optimize supplier performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of global sourcing practices and supply chain sustainability.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
