Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications-
* A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification relevant to economics/business administration.
* 5+ years' experience working as a consultant specializing in procurement/sourcing function.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency developing optimization algorithms/models related work assignments.
* Proven track record demonstrating excellent project management capabilities involving multiple projects simultaneously while meeting targets effectively under tight deadlines.
Skills:
The right applicant must demonstrate knowledge/experience of these specific areas-
* Expertise utilizing software tools such as Excel Solver/Gurobi/Cplex etc., when conducting quantitative analyses,
particularly relating applications surrounding operations research-related problems like linear programming modelling
* Experience facilitating teams through consensus-building processes around supplier selection/negotiations from both sides - buyers/sellers perspective
