Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 2 purchasing professionals to develop and implement the purchasing strategy, reporting to the Managing Director
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure that purchasing activities are in line with company policies and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective action plans where necessary
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that purchasing activities support the overall business objectives
- Analyse market trends and identify new suppliers and products
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions
- Manage the purchasing budget

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a purchasing role
- Experience in the automotive industry and technical understanding is preferred
- Fluency in English and German
