With over 40 manufacturing locations, this manufacturing company offers long-term stability and growth. They are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Manager to oversee the department on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reliability and availability of assigned assets and structures by utilizing the IPS management/Reliability system method.
- Lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing reliability and capacity within the designated area.
- Oversee costs and apply reliability practices to optimize activity execution, ensuring maintenance quality and maximizing resource use.
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing key reliability and maintenance metrics, fostering staff development, establishing routines, and promoting KPI understanding.
- Manage active outsourced contracts and collaborate with purchasing to build new supplier partnerships.
- Drive asset reliability initiatives by implementing new technologies or management strategies to extend asset lifespan and reduce non-value-adding activities.
- Employ methodologies like Six Sigma, Predictive/Proactive Analysis, RCM, FMEA, WCM Advanced Tools, and Digital Manufacturing.
- Ensure safety compliance, adherence to cost targets, employee training, and factory productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Implement a structured and standardized maintenance management system across the assigned plant. - Act as a liaison between maintenance units or departments to coordinate resource allocation for tasks, including purchase orders, service contracts, and urgent purchases.
- Enhance synergy to achieve reduced costs and capital expenditures.
- Develop standardized procedures for technicians and predictive management within the department to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5+ years of supervisory experience
- Experienced in maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, reliability tools, and managing third-party services.
- Strong foundational knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in machines, equipment, and industrial processes, along with SAP-PM expertise.
- Proficient in SAP-PM, with experience in implementation and daily management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Office Suite and advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Deep understanding of programming, maintenance planning and control, key performance indicators (KPIs), root cause analysis, project and cost management, RCM, and FMEA.
