Leading maintenance opportunity with an expanding company! They are offering multiple headcount for the search as they continue to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage personnel before the beginning of a shift, ensuring compliance with company policies and laws
- Adhere to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and federal food safety regulations
- Organize and plan work shifts to complete maintenance tasks on time
- Conduct and facilitate job training for staff
- Develop and maintain relationships with all departments and coordinate work processes internally
- Ensure compliance with OSHA rules, maintain an effective preventative maintenance program, and keep systems operational by performing repairs and replacements
- Maintain a safety program with regular meetings and timely reporting of incidents
- Plan maintenance projects, ensuring materials are available and costs are minimized
- Maintain accurate records of employee work hours and absences, and handle personnel management tasks such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and report. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Ability to interpret documents and solve practical problems. Effective communication with USDA, production, and management personnel is required
- Apply mathematical principles and use computer programs, including MP2. Experience with electrical systems, PLC controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and welding/fabrication skills needed
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and handling objects.
