Manufacturing Manager
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area
Position Summary: A leading Personal Care Products Company is seeking a Production Manager to lead the production team and drive operational excellence. In this role, the Manufacturing Manager will shape and execute strategic goals, ensure high performance, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing & Logistics, the Manufacturing Manager will inspire and mentor the team to achieve production targets and contribute to the company's ongoing growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations during the AM shift, managing a team of production supervisors, manufacturing associates, and warehouse associates. Align team efforts with production goals to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and communicate daily production plans and schedules. Delegate tasks effectively to maintain optimal production flow and adhere to time lines. Achieve COGs targets and KPIs.
- Provide shift performance reports and communicate results, challenges, and delays to the Production Manager. Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity.
- Mentor and support production staff, creating opportunities for professional growth and development. Implement initiatives to boost team morale and empower staff.
- Assist in training new hires and provide ongoing support to ensure effective on boarding and continued development.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to regulations. Report unsafe conditions and conduct accident investigations as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of proven leadership in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar environment. Experience in a direct-to-consumer business is a plus.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business
