The Planner/Planning Analyst role is a full-time position that reports into the Director of Planning for their respective business unit. Together, working with their Retailer counterparts, this team is responsible for sales, profitability and assortment analysis at the style/color/size level detail. This includes collaborating with customers to report on sales, track budgets and set-up information.

- Run and analyze daily/weekly sales and inventory reports, prepared to discuss with managers and cross functional teams as needed
- Provide feedback and direction for day-to-day business operation based on reports and ad hoc analysis
- Review and re-project ladder plans for season by style on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with replenishment counterpart weekly to review shipping forecasts to maximize sales trend
- Create production plans by store volume group and current POS performance at the style/color/size level
- Identify sales and profit opportunities/liabilities and make recommendations to department
The ideal Planning Analyst should have...
- 2-5 years retail merchandise planning experience involving sales/inventory analysis, and forecasting
- Ability to partner/communicate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills and to negotiate and present information in an understandable format
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.), and PowerPoint
- Strong retail math skills (margin, turn, return on investment) required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft BI, Python, Tableau and Powerpoint, Retail Link, Simparel, Adobe Illustrator, SQL system knowledge also a plus
- 4-year college degree (required)
