We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing programs within the aerospace and defense sector, with specific experience working with the Department of Defense (DOD). This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale aerospace and defense programs from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement program strategies, plans, and schedules, and effectively communicate objectives and expectations to team members.
- Provide oversight and guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and support staff, to drive collaboration and alignment towards program goals.
- Monitor and mitigate risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure program success.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards throughout the program lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
