Responsibilities:
- Identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency through automation in R&D workflows
- Develop and test automated solutions using custom or off-the-shelf equipment
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians working on automation systems development, automation system sustaining engineering projects, and automation system maintenance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industries
- Experience with ISO, GMP, and/or Design Control preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Automation Software
