A leading retail organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to manage, optimize, and support their Workday HCM system. This is a high visibility role with immense opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, document, and implement Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and Compensation.
- Design and deliver system enhancements, upgrades, and custom reports to support organizational needs and HR analytics.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage system integrations (APIs and EIBs) to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other systems
- Investigate and resolve HCM system issues, ensuring compliance with audit procedures and laws.
- Provide end-user training and create documentation for processes, updates, and system enhancements
- Enhance HR functionality, drive process improvements, and ensure seamless system integrations.
- Stay informed/updated on Workday system releases to implement beneficial updates and recommend feature adoption to improve efficiency.
- Develop roadmaps and project plans to solve functional challenges and implement effective automation solutions and process improvements.
- Enhance team capabilities through mentorship and training.
- Continuously learn and apply new Workday applications and functions.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with Workday HCMS
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including module system configuration, integration, maintenance, and documentation.
- Willing to work on-site in Birmingham 4 days a week, relocation assistance will be provided if needed
- Proven experience with EIBs, Workday Studio, and integration tools.
- Strong knowledge of security roles, business processes, and data governance.
- Familiar with project management methodologies and tools.
- Expertise in Workday reporting tools, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, release testing, and implementing new Workday functionalities.
- Understanding of compliance with federal/state laws and audit requirements.
