An industry leading company in the Consumer Goods Manufacturing space is looking to add a Sr Project Sourcing Manager to their rapidly growing PM team. This role is being offered as fully on-site in the Lexington, KY area.
Sr Project Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the project sponsor to define project scope comprehensively.
- Develop a detailed work plan, identifying stakeholders and outlining necessary activities for project completion.
- Assess and allocate resources required for successful project execution.
- Construct a well-defined project schedule and ensure alignment with all stakeholders.
- Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
- Lead and summarize core team meetings to maintain organizational focus and task alignment throughout the project.
- Execute the project according to the meticulously crafted plan.
- Generate and maintain project documentation, including forms and records, to meticulously track project progress.
- Regularly monitor project advancement and pivot as needed to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Maintain a structured communication schedule to provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for value engineering and cost savings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Thoroughly document lessons learned upon project completion to inform future endeavors.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Sr Project Sourcing Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent field.
- Possess 7+ years of experience in project management/supply chain operations in Manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, mathematical, and presentation skills.
- Preferably hold PMP Certification.
- Exhibit the ability to autonomously manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a knack for building and nurturing relationships.
- Capable of effectively managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
