About the Role: Control System Engineer
We're seeking a Control System Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and continuous enhancement of control systems for end-of-line test equipment used with electro-mechanical products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet rigorous safety, performance, and efficiency standards.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, analyze, test, and verify control systems for testing equipment
Integrate control systems with testing capabilities and run system simulations
Develop Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI)
Conduct initial product acceptance testing and evaluate data to identify and resolve product issues
Create and apply statistical analysis methods to detect failure modes and improve test yields
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Solid understanding of control system design methodologies
Strong grasp of Statistical Process Controls and related quality assurance techniques
Advanced LabView programming experience
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of control panel design, panel wiring, and field wiring schematics
Familiarity with Lean practices (Green Belt certification a plus)
Proficiency in electronics troubleshooting down to the component level
Experience with analog/digital circuitry and circuit design
Skilled in using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment
Experience with microcontroller platforms (e.g., Arduino) and PLC ladder logic
Understanding of communication protocols such as Serial, SPI, I2C, GPIB, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and TCP/IP
