Project Manager
Summary:
DSJ Global has partnered with a heating systems manufacturer who is looking to bring in a Project Management Engineer with a strong skill set in product design and are willing to take lead on product development initiatives. Responsibilities encompass conducting feasibility analyses, creating comprehensive project plans and budgets, organizing reviews, assessing risks, and resolving issues that could jeopardize project success.
Responsibilities:
- Complete projects via the stage gate process
- Plan and direct teams of engineers, designers, technicians, and other professionals working on specific product development projects
- Identify project risks, conflicts, and other issues to develop contingency and mitigation plans
- Create detailed long and short-term plans, critical path schedules, milestone targets, and deadlines based on available resources
- Manage key communication, including regular updates, strategic reviews, and reports of project stage gate status
Education & Experience
- BS in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management
- Background in project management of a manufactured product
- Competent in project management methodologies and software solutions
- Ability to understand mechanical systems
