Job Title: Business Unit Manager - Aerospace Component Manufacturing

Location: Greater Tampa Bay Area, FL

Travel Requirements: 30% International Travel

Reports To: Senior Leadership Team

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Unit Manager to lead the electronic component business unit within the aerospace component manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business unit, ensuring operational efficiency, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with the senior leadership team to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Provide strong leadership to the business unit, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within the electronic component business unit.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective operations, including production, quality control, supply chain management, and customer service.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • International Travel: Travel internationally up to 30% of the time to meet with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, and to oversee global operations.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor team members, promoting professional development and high performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the senior leadership team to align business unit goals with overall company strategy and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business unit management, preferably within the aerospace component manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight skills.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues, driving continuous improvement.
