Job Summary: The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and Facilities Category Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement and strategic sourcing of MRO supplies and services, as well as facilities management services. This role will ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of our manufacturing facilities, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality biopharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies for MRO and facilities management to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts, performance monitoring, and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including maintenance, engineering, and facilities teams, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in MRO and facilities management.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier selection processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to MRO and facilities procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, preferably in the biopharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MRO and facilities management categories.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
