Overview:
The Construction Procurement Sourcing Manager will oversee project-level procurement for construction projects, focusing on 40% commercial tasks and 60% program management. You will manage pre- and post-contracts, lead sub-contract tenders, and coordinate change orders, serving as the main procurement contact during execution.
Responsibilities:
Commercial:
- Collaborate on general contract tenders.
- Lead sub-contract tenders and evaluate change orders.
- Negotiate pricing and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure contractors meet performance expectations.
Program Management:
- Publish reports on cost, schedule, and performance.
- Attend project meetings and update the procurement team.
- Serve as the main contact for commercial aspects during execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; PMP certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Strong project management skills.
- Previous construction experience (estimating, project engineering, procurement).
- Proficient in MS Office; strong analytical skills.
- Language: Proficient in English and Chinese; Japanese is a plus.
