Sourcing & Procurement Analyst
The Sourcing & Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and efficient sourcing of goods and services. This role involves data analysis, market research, and collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive pricing.
- Assess and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list.
- Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives and drive cost efficiencies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities, including supply chain disruptions and compliance issues.
- Generate regular reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for senior management review.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Legal) to ensure alignment and support for sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
