Contracts Manager
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all aspects of contracting, including stakeholder collaboration, market analysis, vendor selection, RFI/RFP processes, and contract awards for EPCs focused within the Solar industry. The Contracts Manager will focus on delivering cost savings and maximizing the value of spend while nurturing key relationships with contractors and vendors. This role will also lead commercial negotiations and ensure alignment with organizational goals during the contracting process.

Key Responsibilities:
- RFP Process Management:
- Develop RFP documents and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance, project management, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate submission.
- Analyze RFP documents to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Lead pre-RFP meetings with internal teams to ensure bid documents are precise and aligned with project needs.
- Ensure all necessary bid documents are delivered to contractors.
- Bid Review & Analysis:
- Oversee the evaluation of received bids and assess their accuracy.
- Perform bid analysis to identify risks, pricing, and schedules, comparing proposals to determine the best fit.
- Facilitate bid review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Present comprehensive bid analysis and award recommendations to leadership.
- Contract Management:
- Manage evaluations of contract documents and ensure they meet accuracy and compliance standards.
- Lead negotiations, making strategic commercial decisions to align contracts with company goals.
- Organize internal meetings with SMEs to ensure contracting strategies support overall objectives.
- Finalize contract documents and prepare presentation materials for leadership approval.
- Vendor Prequalification:
- Manage communications with business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth contract management processes.
- Identify potential new vendors and review their prequalification documents for onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
- Requrired Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in the solar industry or related sectors.
- 2-4 years of experience in EPC contracts, preferably in utility-scale solar projects.
- Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on listening and responding to customer needs
