EHS Specialist
ABOUT THE JOB
DSJ Global is partnered with an automotive manufacturer who is looking to add an EHS Specialist to their team in New York. The EHS Safety Specialist is responsible for supporting the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. The incumbent will have specific responsibilities for the implementation and maintenance of assigned EHS programs. Utilizing their expertise, they will assist site personnel in achieving EHS objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, evaluate, and administer EHS policies and programs.
- Collaborate with employees and contractors on safety initiatives.
- Maintain records for EHS compliance and reporting.
- Conduct and participate in EHS inspections and audits.
- Deliver EHS training to employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Support PSM, RMP, Environmental, and Waste Management compliance activities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years direct experience in an Environmental Health and Safety
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910, preferred
- General knowledge of ISO 14001.

75k-95k
