Global Commodity Manager
Are you an experienced Commodity Manager with expertise in Low Voltage Power Transmission & Distribution? Our client, a global leader in electrical solutions, is looking for a skilled procurement professional to manage sourcing and supplier relationships for low voltage products such as circuit breakers, switchgear, and transformers.
The Role:
As Commodity Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving cost-effective procurement strategies, ensuring supplier quality and performance, and securing critical low voltage components for large-scale power transmission and distribution projects.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for low voltage power equipment (circuit breakers, LV switchgear, etc.).
✔️ Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with global suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
✔️ Conduct market analysis to track trends, optimize supply chains, and identify new procurement opportunities.
✔️ Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, and ISO standards for all sourced components.
✔️ Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams.
✔️ Proactively manage supply chain risks to ensure a reliable, uninterrupted flow of key components.
Ideal Candidate:
🔹 Proven experience in commodity management or procurement within the Low Voltage Power Transmission & Distribution industry.
🔹 Strong knowledge of supplier management, cost optimization, and industry regulations.
🔹 Familiarity with IEC, UL, and ISO certifications.
🔹 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
🔹 Excellent negotiation & stakeholder management skills.
